Many will have come across the military tradition of Black-Catting, in other words: "going one better" than someone else.
Returning back to work yesterday, I was showing all who were not comatose, my holiday pictures from my recent 3 week family camping holiday in North Wales. At long last I broke my long-standing zero record and finally managed to catch a couple of fish whilst beach-casting. Amongst my photos, there I was proudly holding-up a 2lb sea bass.
"Very nice" says our RM Corporal, producing, as if by magic, a CD video of his fishing trip in the West Indies during his recent honeymoon two weeks ago. On goes the video, we all gather around. Essentially, it's a 40 minute video of him wrestling with a hoofing big fish he caught, a six-foot 315lb Blue Marlin.
