Hi lads,

I know this doesnt figure in alot of your training programmes, but one of the best ways to built up your core (abs, and obliques) is to use gym balls.

just find a website with painful looking excersises, give it a crack, see how you feel. You know the drill.

Guys, these are key to cracking the sit up tests, ropes test in gym pass out, and the full and half regain. If you get a good few sessions in before PRMC or RT, this could mean the difference between pass and fail.

Good luck,

FTG

Good idea FromtheGlos. Just an additional 2 cents, climbing the rope is all about form and knowing how to use your legs. Push your legs, and grab with your arms, thats key.

yeah thats true, but its bound to help brininging the legs up etc. You definately feel the burn there!!

Ive just tried an 'abs blast' class at the gym. It was a quality work out. I'd recomend that to anyone!

The ab roller is also a great tool for improving core strength. I highly reccomend getting one for the sake of a fiver (ish).
