this is alright for experimenting with, its just like all the other 100 press up programmes that are out there, i'd be careful with this if like me you already have a weekly workout routine.

if it aint broke... dont *text deleted**text deleted* around with it.

Heya guys, been floating around the forums for a few days now, around a week back me and a friend thought we'd set ourselves the task of becoming fit, with the hope joining the RM. So far i've seen lots of very helpful things, aswell as some great motivational tips! We both have a very long painful road ahead of us and will mostlikley be poking our heads in and out looking for help and tips!

What do you guys think of this pressup program i'm going to begin tomorrow?

    clicky

Best of luck to you all further along the path!

AM going to try the 100 push up thing too-
Looks a little less ridiculous than the ruskie thing.

Dont know how a wing full of prisoners and my staff would react to their boss doing press ups every 60 mins!

you say you do X ammount of pressups in 60mins so does that meen you do the X ammount of pressups over again till you hit 60mins or do Xammount in like i duno 30secs and then wait 1 hour and then do it again etc...?

I wish I could do this programme but it's just a bit awkward when you work afternoons and evenings.

Damn, I'd love to give this ago but im working the 9-5.
I work in customer service so would never be able to just bang out a few press-ups behind the tills.

    Anyone got any other alternatives?

if your max is 40 then you end up doing 1436 press ups in your first week. on the friday you will do 432 but on the sunday you will only do 64 in total.

    432 pressups in a day???
    thats pretty intense

I have far to much time on my hands

Hi sorry, so the number you work the Percentage for the RI stays the same for the whole thing right? EG until you do the 100% test after week 3, at which point you can start again.

Also, the SF 60min for example means do it every 60 mins?

Sorry it's just a little bit confusing.

I am off for two weeks over Easter, perfect time to do it!:cheesy:

Wrong. You retest at the beginning of week 2 - your week is determined by your scores on the Monday

    Correct.

Just wondering, isn't all these pressups all day, every day, for two weeks, likely to cause an injury at all??

Like, should you warm up and cool down every 45 mins :P ??
