Exactly. This theme is better than the snowflake adverts.

I’d really be interested to see the effect on recruiting after this. I’ve always believed that the “tough factor” is the most powerful recruiting tool for the target market of the Paras and Marines. Where youngsters can challenge themselves and take great pride in their achievements!!

Let’s wait and see, but I reckon Para recruiting will see a positive effect from this!! If it’s done well!

Para recruitment will shoot up massively its not that well known specially compared to the Marines loads of people will think oh I can do that. But when they get there in their boots half of them will quit.

However if the show is gritty and meant to look tough within the ways they're allowed to. I imagine if it makes recruitment spike up a lot maybe the Army recruiters will think about how they recruit tactics

This is exactly it for pretty much everyone I know who's attempting to join, not because they love to game all night or because they love being called snowflakes.
Even my friends who had no interest in the military think the new posters are a laughing stock.

When you say corridor session do you just mean getting thrashed in the corridor, is there more to it?

Great to see a Royal Marines Commando advert in the middle of it!

That's an unusual sense of humour by the RN marketeers.

    Quality :D

The Army did it during Comnando School, so all's fair in marketing. They'll have been gagging to return the favour.

Took 40 minutes before the Royal Marines were mentioned by the Paras in the programne - to me it shows a healthy mutual respect.

Looks a bit nippy in Catterick

Yep saw it. This proggramme and other similar ones like commando school are more requirement tools compared to documentaries like cotfe which felt more 'authentic '. Thats how i see it.
