Greta isn't going to be happy
To be fair, I've not seen many smiley selfies from that particular call-sign. Given the number of facial muscles required to frown, as compared to a smile I reckon the Ironman Bootneck needs to consider planting a few more trees.

In reality doing this manually isn't too difficult given sufficient training and practice.
The goats in the trailer I once rolled would disagree. RIP.

An appropriate thread to mention that this forum's official Commando Challenge charity team was (once again) featured in a Facebook post by The Royal Marines Charity:

Team Ninja's Worriers had its own 'embedded' photographer from Devon Air Ambulance Trust (joint beneficiary of the Commando Challenge) following the team in 2019, presumably because of the awesomely photogenic qualities of the team and the team's impressive grit and determination.

Get involved. Look out for more information about the October 2020 event.

I don't get time for computer sims etc but what on earth is this?

I couldn't tell most of that was a flight sim through most of it. That's some next level software engineering right there.

Hi chaps,

Saw this video on YouTube. Seen a fair few of these types of “tactical” videos. Pretty cool!

Are these skills actually useful in a real life situation, or are they more for show?

I rember seeing an interview of a pilot who taught himself to fly using Microsoft flight SIM and then ended up getting his license. Of course he had a fairly high tech simulation set up, but impressive to say the least.

"He took part in the seaborne landings in Italy and was taken PoW before promptly escaping and returning to his battalion."

Reading the whole story, christ the things these guys did.
