Fat teenagers who quote forest gump when you run past them!
Gym rats that do exercises extremely poorly then admire themselves in the mirror
And to think this toilet is an MP and getting paid by the taxpayer.
The upskirting thing is a fair one, but it’s technically covered in other laws, and Scotland broadened a law to specifically include it.
But Misogyny as a hate crime? So a judge can decide what your motives were, and give a harsher punishment?
Not very equal is it. And when can we expect Misandry to become a hate crime? We already have countless examples of it and of women getting lesser punishments than men.
She’s a waste of oxygen.
"They happen in a world where we don't see violence against women as a priority for action; where we tell young women to not walk around late at night as a way of staying safe, rather than those who hassle them that their behaviour is unacceptable."
And what about the 45% of domestic abuse victims that are Male? Surely in the interest of equality we need to tackle domestic abuse equally?
And since when was it acceptable to harass or assault women? We have laws and standards, but have some self preservation, I am 6ft3 and 18 stone and I don’t fancy walking round areas in the city at night. I want to leave my satnav in my car unlocked, but I can’t.
Bad people don’t follow laws. The world is full of bad people. Protect yourself.
Misogyny involves showing dislike, contempt or ingrained prejudice against women.
And who decides this? A judge? Like a judge can decide the context of a joke?
Will we see misandry included in this?
Thoughtcrime. Looks like I have had enough thinking for the day.
Memes are now under attack, there’s that thoughtcrime again. And a body of authority taking a situation without context..
Oh, what’s that? The head of the fairytale society want me to pay more tax? And how much tax does the church pay? Wind your neck in you absolute toilet.
Remind me again where it was that I appointed you in a position to dictate to me? Your not a politician. Take yourself outside and have a word with yourself.
Really great reporting from the BBC again, not at all biased and with an underlying agenda. You knobs.
where'd it say he wants *us* to pay more taxes? Reading through whats on that article it doesn't seem all that bad - raising living wage (which would be nice if I wasn't joining a public service job), raising corporation tax and bringing the idea that these international companies are monetising our data into the picture
The world today makes me think i was born in the wrong generation
Raise corporate tax higher and we will lose that income.
There’s 3 things we should be encouraging these people/companies to do:
Spend in the economy
Heavy taxation does not encourage those things.
These companies and people pay more in tax towards the NHS in 1 month than average joe working minimum wage in McDonalds pays in 1 year.
Monetising data is a bit of a different topic but I agree on that, but its nothing new, maybe if our politicians weren’t tied up in ridiculous projects and idiotic ideas, we can be a step closer to a solution.
Either way an undemocratically appointed head of a fairytale society which pays hardly any tax, can suck my plums and wind his neck in.
You're a walking right wing capitalist propaganda machine if I've ever seen one.
Fat people who claim 'sickness benefits' because their obesity and gluttony is fuelling conditions that makes them 'too ill to work'.
Just to make it clear, I agree with you - I just enjoy witnessing your work and playing devil's advocate
That sounded very snotty, I apologise. I just subscribe to a different form of economics to you.
I’d tap out now if I were you to be honest
Eech, people who don’t realise that left and right are all the same when politics is just a big circle
Eech, people who think they've found a higher level of thought without realising its illusory.
Capitalism built the modern world. It enables class movement and removes the divide from rich and poor.
You are posting on a computer or smart phone that was made by a private company. The irony.
Socialism works until you run out of somewhere else’s money. Give me an example of a country where socialism worked.
Venezuela is an “inspiration to all of us fighting back against austerity and neoliberal economics in Europe" don't you know..
Yea, that’s why people are starving and resorting to eating their dogs.....
But everyone is starving so we're all equal. Apart from those in government or friends of those in power of course!
You seem to have misinterpreted my stupid comment. I'm more keynesian than socialist.
From wikipedia "Keynesian economics served as the standard economic model in the developed nations during the later part of the Great Depression, World War II, and the post-war economic expansion (1945–1973), though it lost some influence following the oil shock and resulting stagflation of the 1970s. The advent of the financial crisis of 2007–08 caused a resurgence in Keynesian thought, which continues as new Keynesian economics."
An interesting economic philosophy and, in reality? Can work though, I’ve a problem with it as Keynes was motivated to develop his theory via his belief in eugenics (gave the Galton Lecuttr in 1933 I believe, and attempted to create an economic in policy based on eugenic principles); that’s not negating the problems of neoliberalism though, on that basis.
