Kicking a can along Memory Lane here but in the 1970s anyone investing belief in the apparently undeniable 'science' theories of the day also had to read this:

Whoopsie, the 75th Anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE Day) has caused a spot of mayhem.

The Bank Holiday on Mon 4th May has shifted to Fri 8th May so that the anniversary (a civilian event, not a military event) can be celebrated over that weekend.

Some regions in UK are also considering moving their Armed Forces Day (Sat 27th June) to Sat 9th May.

    I blame Brexit :)

As the nation prepares to celebrate the dawn of a New Year please do take care to return to one's own home or at least be an invited guest in someone else's. :)

A recent Commando Comic cover confirms that a plucky British cap comforter always triumphed over bad Nazi teeth and unpleasant finger nails.

Yep, Nazi zombies are seldom mentioned nowadays. How quickly people forget, eh?

Interesting to see the little Commando dagger, top right, together with "Special Forces".

    From a post on OAMAAM.......

I'm passing this on because it has worked for me. A doctor told me that to have inner peace we should always finish things we start. As I am of the generation of 'waste not, want not' I looked around the house to find things I'd started and hadn't finished. So I finished off a bottle of Shiraz, a bottle of Baileys, a butle of port, an wum, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now.

Sned this to all who need inner peas. An telum u bluddy luvum. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    :):):)
