Since lockdown begun I’ve been neglecting my Pull Ups due to not having access to a Pull Up Bar - today I decided to do something about it and got to work with some timber.. I want to be maxing out on my pull ups as it’s always been a weakness for me!

The timber all looks solid, how have you fixed the whole thing into the wall?

I’ve used thunderbolts so it’s direct into the masonry. I’ve used brackets to fix the bar to the frame, meaning I can change the bar easily if it ever needs it.

Domestic harmony might be maintained by installing hanging baskets of seasonal flowers from the brackets when it's not in pull-up duty. :)

Looks a tidy job, nice one. Beats the - "eyesore" as the missus calls it - scaffold I've got up in the back garden
