Training breakthorughs?

i really dont understand it somtimes..it took me 4 weeks to get from 40 to 50 but yesterday i could only do 40 falling on my face..and today i can manage 50 falling on my face :*text deleted*: . and the same with my sit ups i managed 70 today but yesterday only 60 in 2 mins and again with pull ups?> . i duno what it is and i know this post is really kinda pointless but anyone got any ideas why? maybe because ive started to get more sleep? thanks and my punctuation sucks so sorry if you dont understand *text deleted* =] :D 8)

What you've had to eat and drink throughout the day could be one explanation. From what I've read, a 3% decrease in body water can lead to a 7% decrease in performance. Plus if your really pushing yourself the day before your muscles could still be recovering the day after.
