Hello Everyone,

I have my interview on Wednesday. I’ve been training for a little while now and consider myself a pretty fit guy.
I tried the vPJFT today and couldn’t keep up with the second round of sit-ups. I felt fine with everything else. I stopped the audio and completed the rest keeping up to the tempo.
I know I can do it. But I was just wondering how soon after your interview do you complete the vPJFT? If I know I have a bit of time it’ll put my mind at ease.
Thanks all!

Hi mate,

You need to book your VPJFT when you are ready. Personally I waited until I could get through 4 rounds fairly comfortably before I booked mine. I had a two week wait between booking VPJFT and when I completed it.

AFCO told my son to book when ready.

Once he could consistently complete 3 sets and was pushing on a fourth set he booked it and given a date two weeks ahead.

He practiced every other day until two days before the vPJFT, when he rested, by then he could confidently complete over four sets.

This meant he went into it feeling good and was given a ‘strong pass’.

Now halfway through his ROP.

Good luck with it.
