just came across some news regarding British troops out in afghanistan, basically out of a group of 35 soldiers in a regiment 7 died and 12 were injured in combat. As i'm sure your all aware injured soldiers never get mentioned in the news, but out of these 12 soldiers many are fighting for compensation but are also having to be treated in NHS hospitals because there are no military hospitals anymore.
I can't believe british troops get treated this way.
I remember hearing about a marine who stepped on a land mine and lost his legs and arm but had to fight for compensation and even now he hasn't been awarded much.
Anyone else heard of similar stories like this, what do you think about this?
