What speed do you have the runing machine on?

I like to road run myself, but somtimes ill skip a night and when im at the gym i use the running machines, but what speed do you like to run on?

Well if your aiming at a 1.5 miler under PJFT time limit then thats a speed of 8.6mph.

I like to run at a steady pace then sprint the last 3 minutes.

my machines are in kilometers, so it would be like 12,3 or 13.4 etc im running on 16.00

do you know what i mean, or is it really that speed of 8.6 because if it is thats easy as hell :huh:

The running machines in my gym are in Km too...I normally put it on 14.5/15 and do about 6Km

so whats 1.5 miles in KM and 3 miles in KM ? so i can start doing the 3 miler etc propley??

my original pb was 20 41 then i put the treadmill on 9mpg and ran for 2.125 miles then lowered it and near at the end i put it to 10mph depends how i feel and i got 20 11 i was chuffed like

1.5 miles is 2.40km and 3 miles is 4.80km

run the first 1.5miles at 12km to do it in under 12.30mins and the second at 14.5 to get 10mins

i put the treadmill at 2% incline and then run 5km at a steady pace of 15km an hour. That makes it 20 mins for 5k which is 3.1 miles. i do 1k walk first so my legs are stretched properly
