i dont read many books- i have read Jeremy Clarksons books however they will not help you in your career into the RM (*text deleted*)

I personally would try Steven Preece books! He has two dedicated to his stories of being a Marine and how he coped with getting back on to civvy street!

they are called - Amongst the Marines: The Untold Story
& - Always a Marine: The Return to Civvy Street

also try Andy McNab books! he is ex-SAS and has like 10 books out! all should be a great read!

Steeven Preece books - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Amongst-Marines-Untold-Steven-Preece/dp/1840188529

Andy McNab - http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/m/andy-mcnab/

note me that said it-

"James Bond has a watch that turns into a high-powered laser, Andy McNab has a pen that turns into a sh*t book"

I've read four Andy McNab books they are awesome to read but not very factual about dates and all that... great to entertain you but not for the royal marines i brought a recommended book called Royal Marines Commandos: The inside story of a force for the future by John Parker thats really factual gd to learn about Gibralter etc only on chapter 2 bloody borin the way its written.. but its not a story book so its not gona be:uglyhammer:

another good storybook is Blackwater its about the SBS *text deleted**text deleted*in excellent talks about the Royal Marines in that a little bit aswell

i turned down buying that book because i prefer the one where he grows the biggest carrot in the world, sells it and makes loads of money. Then he got caught up with being a celebrity and forgot about his real friends. He spent all of his money in the casinos of vegas and the prostitutes of america. He caught aids and died a broken and lonely rabbit who no one respected or cared about.
