When do you do the PJFT?

In relation to the selection weekend. And is it true that the've cut the allowed time?

Many moons ago (about 18 months) it was 10 mins 45 secs for a 1.5 mile treadmill run, it's now under ten mins.

Strictly speaking if you pass the selection weekend, you've passed the PJFT if you can get your PTI to sign the certificate & ensure it's returned to the AFCO.

You should complete the PJFT within 28 days of being passed medically fit. If you do not complete the PJFT you cannot be enrolled into the RMR & start getting paid.

Yes cut off time is now 10 mins for PJFT. On RMR PRMC you have to do 1.5 miles in under 10.5 mins after a 1.5 squadded run in 15 mins.

Is the run as a sqaud been increased to 15 minutes for the RMR then???? I was under the impression it was 12.5 minutes???

Yep - was 15 mins - 10 minute miles.

I did it on Saturday!
