    Good morning all,

Hope everyone is staying healthy through these trying times!

I wanted to check if anyone else on here makes use of the Whoop strap as a fitness tracking device?
It allows you to create teams with who you can compete in areas like daily strain rate, recover and yes, even sleep!

If anyone does make use of it, let me know and we can create a team!

    Keep well everyone!

    Hello mate how you doing?

Yes I've used Whoop for some time now. I have noticed big improvements in my sleep and general energy once I realised I wasn't sleeping and therefore recovering enough for my training output.

Its also been good for me in choosing when to 'smash' it and when to do an easier day based on the daily recovery algorithm.

    Tom

    Hey @Biggles !

Ive been on it now since December and I fully agree. Been seeing massive improvements. I think the thing that has improved most is the mental side of things weirdly enough. When I think I’m smashing a workout and I have a strain rate of 12 it makes you realize how much more you can push.

If you’re up for it we can create a team? I’m up in Scotland, so I train on my own anyway, but this lockdown has made it worse. Don’t even see people on my runs anymore.

Where in your application are you now?

I’m sure I treated a lad for a bad case of Whoop strap in the sick bay.

@Johnny_Anonie I’ve heard some rumours that it was quite a bastard to treat! Fortunately haven’t had to experience it for myself, yet-nailbiting--nailbiting-:D:D-doctor--doctor-

A whoop strap? Sounds like something a deep southern redneck father threatens his kids with if they misbehave. Think hacksaw ridge dad
