Why do you need rest days?

I don't feel painful from the night before and if i don't do any kind of running or upper body training I feel *text deleted**text deleted* and can't sleep. But i keep hearing that your meant to at least take two nights off a week why?

Yeah rest days hope the body recover and repair the tiny microscopic tears in your muscle. When you train your muscle produces these tiny tears, and they grow back stronger, so a good diet and rest days will increase your strentgh and fitness

you don't feel painful? Try working harder *text deleted*. Rest days are important even if you don't feel battered after a session. It also enables you to perform better if you have the odd rest day. A couple of days a week is all you need to rest, train the other 5 days.
