Nah Bidens Chinese friends would be upset. No chance of a US military intervention, more likely that a diplomatic agreement will be created that allows NK to look like they are behaving, while maintaining their clandestine activities. Sure Biden will even send afew plane loads of USD over to sweaten the deal.

The US's hands are tied now that NK has nukes. Even if they can't hit the mainland US just yet, they could definitely hit Hawaii and Guam, which have enormous strategic importance to the US. Not to mention Seoul and Tokyo, which would be wiped off the face of the earth with Nukes and chemical weapons.

I don't think Biden wants his legacy to be a nuclear genocide.

The only real options are to stage a coup from inside NK (very difficult) or try to convince the Chinese that they aren't worth the trouble (marginally less difficult). If China cut off aid, NK would collapse within 1-2 years.

Both of these options are very unlikely though because China doesn't want millions of poorly educated refugees if they take over, or US forces at their border if South Korea takes over.
